Many of you know the Stoppard family well and at Fareham Heathens RFC we fully support their Ripples of Compassion charity and encourage everyone to attend their charity rugby event on 20 July 2019 at 2pm at the Club.
What is Ripples of Compassion?
Ripples of Compassion was set up in memory of Ripley Olive Corless who lost her fight with cancer in October 2017 aged just 2 years old.
Please visit their website: https://ripplesofcompassion.com/ or facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RipleyOlive/?tn-str=k%2AF
or better still their fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/ripplesofcompassion
Ripley’s Gramps and FUJ have chosen to run a charity rugby game as Ripley joined them from just a few months old watching the rugby, both supporting England and also FUJ when he played for Fareham Heathens.
Ripley had a positive impact on the lives of everyone she met and was a kind and empathetic little girl who didn’t like to see anyone else sad or in pain. At Ripples of Compassion we hope to honour her memory by supporting children with cancer and their families, as well as parents that have experienced the death of a child, to make their difficult journeys easier wherever we can.
How can you help?
This event is a great opportunity to remember Ripley and raise money for a great cause whilst having an awesome time playing (or watching) rugby and the horse racing that will follow. Come down to Fareham Heathens RFC on 20 July 2019 at 2pm for what will be a spectacular event and help honour Ripley's memory by enjoying some rugby.
We wish you all the best of luck!
